Saudi Construction Tech Startup Fitting Raises $1.1M to Digitize Procurement
Saudi construction technology startup Fitting has closed a $1.1 million second seed funding round. An undisclosed strategic investor from the contracting and real estate development sector provided the capital. Founded in 2025 by Mohammed Al-Mubayed and Abdulaziz Almubayad, the company builds software that automates material procurement and supply chain logistics for developers and contractors.
Construction projects traditionally rely on fragmented communication channels to manage materials, contractors, and service providers. Fitting replaces manual procurement processes with a central digital platform. The software allows contractors to order materials, track site deliveries, and coordinate directly with suppliers, reducing the delays and cost overruns that stem from manual supply chain management.
The backing of a strategic investor from the real estate sector provides Fitting with direct access to its target market. The investor brings practical knowledge of the daily bottlenecks developers face on construction sites, allowing the startup to tailor its software features directly to actual market demands.
Targeting Saudi Expansion
Fitting will use the new capital to fund three immediate priorities:
- Expand software deployment into new geographic markets within Saudi Arabia.
- Build new features to handle increasingly complex procurement orders.
- Hire and train Saudi technical staff to run engineering and operations.
