Our writers do not report on a company, founder, or business where they hold a financial stake, are a paid affiliate, or receive commission from products sold by the subject. Corporate hospitality and high-value gifts do not influence our coverage. Where a minor connection exists between a writer and a subject, it is disclosed directly beneath the article.

We take all reasonable steps to verify factual claims before publication. Conjecture, speculation, and unverified allegations are clearly distinguished from statements of established fact.
