Tarsil.pk CTO Uzair Wasif Wins Prime Minister’s Youth Excellence Award for Field Management Software

Uzair Wasif, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Lahore-based Tarsil.pk, received the Prime Minister’s Youth Excellence Award in the Entrepreneurship category. The government recognized Wasif for developing a field-force management platform that helps Pakistani companies track out-of-office operations.
Tarsil.pk enables companies to monitor field sales, coordinate deliveries, and log payment recoveries through a single interface. According to company data, more than 200 businesses across 77 Pakistani cities use the platform, processing over PKR 33 billion in recorded transactions to date.
From Internal Tool to Commercial Software
The platform originated as an internal fix for the founders' own business constraints. Relying on phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and spreadsheets, management struggled to track inventory, deliveries, and payment recoveries once employees left the office.
"We were our own first customer," said Wasif. "We were not trying to build a product at the start, we were trying to stop losing track of our own field teams."
After stabilizing their own field operations, the founders commercialized the software to target other local distribution, retail, and service companies facing similar tracking bottlenecks.
Replacing Manual Field Operations
Tarsil focuses strictly on domestic business utility rather than export-driven or consumer-facing software. The platform centralizes several core field operations:
- Sales Management: Real-time tracking of field sales targets and completion.
- Delivery Coordination: Dispatch and routing monitoring.
- Payment Recovery: Logging cash and digital payments collected outside the office.
- Staff Monitoring: Live location and task tracking for remote personnel.
By centralizing these functions, Tarsil provides managers with immediate oversight, eliminating the delay of end-of-day paper reporting.
Focusing on Local Business Utility
Wasif, originally from Multan and now operating out of Lahore, recently detailed the company's trajectory on PTV Home’s Rising Pakistan. His award highlights a growing sector of Pakistani technologists building practical software to modernize domestic supply chains and field logistics.
Rather than launching with a speculative product, Tarsil’s founders identified a functional gap in their daily operations, built a targeted solution, and scaled it to meet widespread commercial demand.
