World CIO 200 Summit 2026 Gathers 1,100 Technology Executives in Karachi
Karachi, Pakistan — The World CIO 200 Summit 2026 will convene its Pakistan edition on September 12, drawing more than 1,000 domestic technology executives and 100 overseas delegates to Karachi. Organized by ITCN Asia and powered by the Global CIO Forum, the summit connects local chief information officers with international peers across a 60-country network.
Global CISO Forum President Dr. Erdal Ozkaya will travel from the United States to lead the Karachi proceedings. He joins Event Director Muhammad Umair Nizam and Global Advisor Syed Abdul Qadir in orchestrating the Pakistani leg of the global roadshow.
Connecting Domestic and International Technology Sectors
The event structures its agenda to bridge domestic enterprise operations with international markets. The delegate roster includes chief information officers, chief information security officers, and technology directors operating across the Pakistani technology sector.
"The continued inclusion of Pakistan in the World CIO 200 journey reflects the country’s rising influence in the global technology landscape, supported by recent government economic reports detailing record-breaking IT exports," stated summit organizers.
The inclusion of over 100 expatriate executives returning for the event highlights an ongoing effort to channel overseas technical expertise into domestic industry expansion. The summit targets infrastructure modernization, security protocols, and cross-border integration.

TechX Pakistan enters its third consecutive year as a supporting partner for the summit. The local technology publication provides coverage of the country's software startups, infrastructure developments, and major industry conferences.
During the 2026 summit, TechX Pakistan Founder and CEO Khawaja Mohammad Owais will be considered for an industry award. The nomination recognizes his work documenting the national technology sector and distributing Pakistani tech developments to global media platforms.
